catalan translation file correcting typos

comment:2 by Marc Fargas, 17 years ago

For those that don't speak Catalan, On the discussion held here three things popped out:

  • Small typos, which are corrected in the last diff attached by Marc Garcia
  • Complicated strings, like "Number", "Float", "Integer" and "Email address" which we'll think about and commit separatelly.
  • Persona stuff, about how to treat the user, after some reasearch done by Marc Garcia it seams that other people and organizations translating software to Catalan opted for the 2nd person in plural form for messages directed to the user.

This means we'll have to change lots of msgstr's in the catalan translation! So that will also go in a separate commit. But we'll then be more "standard" with other software translations. (About "Spanish Spain" we'll have to search a bit more).

Marc F: Was this fixed in [7398], as the message said? Sometimes the post-commit script doesn't manage to close the ticket automatically.

If you weren't intending for it to be closed anyway, you can use "Refs #6917" in the commit message so that the commit is recorded here without closing the ticket.

[7398] is Marc G's commit ;) The commit only fixes the first point of the three on the last comment, we still have to decide about some complicated strings, and change all the references of "Vosté" to "Vosaltres" which will take a bit more (means re-reading the .po!).

So, we'll use "Refs #6917" a bit hehe.

For anybody following the ticket;

Catalan translation file mainly correcting person form for messages to user

Attached second patch for standarizing the person used in messages to user.

Some typos also fixed in this patch, and new texts also translated.

This patch will close this ticket, so after using catalan software translations style sheet, and translation list by softcatala, ambiguous translations doesn't extis anymore.
