#18633 new Bug

Can't use parenthesis in Documentation search bar

Reported by: kevinlondon Owned by: nobody
Component: *.djangoproject.com Version: 1.4
Severity: Normal Keywords: website, search, documentation
Cc: Triage Stage: Accepted
Has patch: no Needs documentation: no
Needs tests: no Patch needs improvement: no
Easy pickings: no UI/UX: yes

Description

If I use the search bar in the right side of the Documentation section, I cannot search for methods or other text that contains parenthesis. For instance, if I search for "delete", I get a number of search results. If I search for "delete()", however, I do not get any results.
