  • Summary changed from Example of hidden input field to document newforms fields and widgets
  • Triage Stage changed from Unreviewed to Accepted
  • Version changed from 0.95 to SVN

The documentation for newforms fields and widgets has not been written yet. Hidden input field will eventually get documented with the rest of the newforms widgets. I don't think there is any ticket open for the field and widget documentation, so I am renaming this ticket to encompass documentation of all fields and widgets, not just hidden input.

  • Summary changed from document newforms fields and widgets to document newforms widgets

Actually, #3780 is handling newforms fields, so this one can be for widgets.

  • Keywords sprintsept14 added

The HiddenInput widget is now mentioned in a table in the newforms docs. There isn't a specific example for a hidden input, but it does say that using the HiddenInput widget will produce <input type="hidden"...> which I think is clear enough.

I'm leaving this open for someone else to confirm and close.

It's absolutely clear in the Docs now.
