Description
When using the command "python manage.py runserver" the server produces a socket error on: windows 8 64-bit, with CPython v 2.7.3

There's really not enough information here to debug this problem. I'm fairly sure it's something specific to your machine -- perhaps other software? firewalls? -- and not something Django's doing. If I'm wrong, please feel free to reopen with additional information.
