Description

On the Django website, under Community (http://www.djangoproject.com/community/) there is a link in the upper right of the page to "Get Involved" on IRC. The link attempts to connect the user to the #django IRC channel using Mibbit, which Freenode doesn't approve of. The link should be changed to use some variation of:

http://webchat.freenode.net/

More information on Freenode's decision here (not that it matters in relation to this ticket):

The link you refer to reads irc://irc.freenode.net/django. There is no reference to mibbit, or any other IRC client - it's entirely up to your own web browser how that link is displayed. If you browser is using mibbit, and Freenode is rejecting mibbit connections, that's an issue between yourself and your web browser.
