Description
The timesince "years" in french is translated "années".
So when using it, it gives something like "il y a 2 années". But in french we say "il y a 2 ans". The provided patch fixes this problem.

We can join this ticket to ticket:10013, and update it. Now I wonder if we should let "année" for the singular form: "il y a 1 année", il y a 3 ans". What do you think?

I think that "an" is better for the singular form as well ("il y a 1 an"). "Il y a 1 année" is too "heavy".

I'm going to close this as a "duplicate' of #10013. I realise it's not a true duplicate, but, as claudep mentions, it's worhtwhile making a single patch and there's some improvements needed over there anyway (which anybody can do, so if Sephi wants to move things along, that would be a place to start).
