The Documentation homepage reads

We're in the process of writing the official Django book.
Follow its progress at djangobook.com. Note that it assumes
you're using the Django development version rather than version 0.96.

It should rather state:

We've finished writing the official Django book. You can browse it online
at djangobook.com, or buy it online.
Note that it assumes you're using the Django development version rather than version 0.96.

Don't know if you can link it to amazon book page or to the website of the editor.
