#4188 closed (fixed)

Language list is not up-to-date

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: Jacob
Component: Documentation Version: dev
Severity: Keywords: language, locale

Needs tests: no Patch needs improvement: no

Description

The locale list:

http://www.djangoproject.com/documentation/settings/#languages

lists only 30 locales, when I, in 2007-04-30, did 'svn update' then went on to look at 'django_src/django/conf/locale' and I find there is 40 locales, including the one I at first thougth was missing.

If such list is elsewhere in the documentation too, please update. This can confuse people into thinking they need to do a translation when in fact they don't need to do it.

Thanks.

eh, hmm... well if that was not even intended as a complete list then another comment is that a complete list of already translated languages in the documentation at the website is where...?

Resolution: fixed
Status: newclosed

(In [5129]) Fixed #4188 -- Removed the explicit list of default LANGUAGES setting values,
because it will keep getting out of date. Replaced it with a pointer to the
source of the that list.
