Description
I believe that there is some sort of effort underway to encourage people towards using the Django forum and Django Discord rather than the mailing list and IRC channel?
If so, perhaps updating the README.rst
file in the root of the project to make mention of these resources (as opposed to only mentioning the mailing list and IRC channel at present) would be appropriate?

See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
We can add Django Discord channel and the Django Forum to the README, but I don't see a reason to remove the IRC channel or the mailing list, see Getting Help in docs.
For the future, such small cleanup doesn't require tickets.
