Description
as stated in summary: installed django according to instructions, and get error "django: command not found"
I have tried this installation on several systems, both Windows and Linux, and still get the same error

You haven't provided any details that demonstrate a bug in Django. In fact, installing Django doesn't add a "django" command so "django: command not found" is expected.
