Description
Inspired from discussions in #22298, this feature request aims to lay out the bases to build some clever functionalities based on the knowledge of an app required static files.
It is not (yet) a complete replacement for Form.Media
, but could replace a part of its use cases.

As Florian said on the mailing list, I'm also not sure that iterating on the idea in Django itself is the best way forward.

OK, then I think closing the issue seems the right thing to do.
