Description

I think we should update the documentation about compressing JavaScript in the url: ​https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/internals/contributing/writing-code/submitting-patches/#compressing-javascript . Talking about Mac OS 10.5 looks so old since it released on 2007 and no longer supported, 10.6+ would be better. What do you think?

Can we simply remove the note or are there any extra steps needed on more recent Mac OS versions?

For OS 10.6 Java 1.6 comes pre-installed no more configurations needed. But for 10.7+ you need to install the JDK from oracle website. As mentioned here ​http://www.java.com/en/download/apple.jsp

So yeah we add this note and a link to where people can download the JDK would be fine.
