When I open the PDF documentation for version 1.5 most of the PDF is entirely blank.

Yes, that's the link I'm looking at. It doesn't work for me. When I open it it has 1290 pages and only 1273 to 1290 have something in them. You can see a screenshot at the following link: http://imgur.com/jrHzXl0

I can reproduce the same behaviour (both in evince
and in xpdf
). 1.4 and dev versions are fine (1.6 is unavailable).

I could reproduce as well and then retriggered the build at readthedocs. It looks good to me now. Can you confirm?

Lovely, it looks much better now.
It looks fine to me. Is http://media.readthedocs.org/pdf/django/1.5.x/django.pdf the URL you are looking at? It's possible there was a transient issue with readthedocs and a subsequent build of the docs fixed this. Please reopen if you still see an issue.
