Description
References to "poll_id" should be "poll.id"
This goes for the index.html template file as well as other references. This is specific to Part III (3) of the tutorial/getting started guide.
Without this fix, index.html won't render correct links to map to details.html, causing an error.

As far as I can see,
poll_idis the variable name defined in the URL regex and passed to the view. I don't see how it is wrong. Please try support channels first (TicketClosingReasons) and reopen if you really think there is an error in the tutorial.
