Without more information about what you were trying to do, what your model setup is, what your settings are, etc., it's impossible to tell if this is a configuration error or an actual bug. Your best bet is to post details to the Django users mailing list ( or in the Django IRC channel (#django on and ask for help tracing the source of the problem.

just download django on WinXP

Im trying to go through tutorial

on tutorial2 when you trying to open http://localhost:8000/admin
I got this error

in the file
File "C:\Python23\lib\site-packages\django\views\", line 99

variable "pre_context_lineno" becomes None

and this code just fails

'pre_context_lineno': pre_context_lineno + 1,

This was fixed a couple of days ago.
