Would it be safe to mention late December as a tentative date for experimental Python 3 support (since this is the planned release for 1.5)?

See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
At the time of that writing, there was no solid timeline. We're now getting closer to a concrete timeline and plan for Python 3 compatibility. As mentioned in the 1.4 alpha release notes, we should be providing a real timeline for Python 3 support sometime around the 1.4 release date. At that time we should update this page. Until then we can leave it as is.
Accepting this ticket as a reminder to update it once we do announce our plans for Python 3.
