Description
Home page says: "Developed four years ago by a fast-moving online-news operation". Which means Django is only 4 years old according to the home page.
Wikipedia says the the initial release was in 2005. I first heard about it in probably 2006.

Yes, that sentence needs updating.
It would be interesting to explain briefly but precisely that Django started at World Online (when?), then was open-sourced (I don't know exactly how it happened).
