WorldOnline is the Web development shop that created Django and open-sourced it. Django was originally extracted from Ellington, a commercially-available content management system for newspapers developed by World Online.

This is in fact fully automated. On top of that It allows to display exif data, to view number of visitors (in session), to let users select the photo sizes (in session), to give rating capabilities via an Ajax call. Here Django is using flup as scgi server and lighttpd.
  • diskbot - Diskbot is a realtime disk monitoring webapp written in django that monitors file system usage for a local machine or a whole network of machines in real time. Other soon to be included features are file system analysis and reporting such as file duplication, ten largest files, and historical trends.
