MacPorts now has a Django distribution for Python 2.4 again.

    52 Django can be installed via the MacPorts system. If you’re using Python 2.5, type sudo port install py25-django. For Python 2.6, type sudo port install py26-django. MacPorts can also be used to install a database and the Python interface to your chosen database.
