    11Now that stage 1 "CSS-only accessible console tabs" has landed (thanks Natalia!), I've cleaned up the stage 2 "true ARIA tab pattern" that uses JS progressive enhancement. PR [https://github.com/django/django/pull/21615 django#21615] and for the website [https://github.com/django/djangoproject.com/pull/2936 djangoproject.com#2936].

    3 The Django one is currently stacked on a separate pydata-sphinx-theme PR for ticket #37138. But I can unstack it to apply to the existing (unmaintained) djangodocs theme if someone wants to review it to merge earlier. (The JS should work with any theme. The tabs accessibility tree is the same; the only difference is pydata-sphinx-theme provides nicer visuals for sighted readers.)
