    1 There was a (undocumented) way to declare dependency on non-migrating apps ({{{'auth', '__first__'}}} IIRC) - but it looks like django migrations don't support reverse dependencies (i.e. declaring that a third-party app depends on your app) so that wouldn't help even if it were still a thing.
