    1 PR #21017 replaces PR #16979 and addresses the earlier review feedback (…one line on what the old PR was dinged for…). Unsetting 'patch needs improvement' to return this to the review queue.
     1New PR https://github.com/django/django/pull/21017 addresses earlier feedback (MariaDB also uses the leftmost prefix of the unique index) with a minimal `db_index=False` fix, tests, and a release note; unsetting "patch needs improvement".
