    11I can't comment on performance, but I've always found choosing the length of `CharField`s incredibly annoying.

    55I'm in favor of removing the requirement to define `max_length` on `CharField`s, and making them unlimited by default — assuming this isn't a ''Gun Aimed At Feet''.
