Description
Jeff Croft's django-powered blog has attracted much attention recently. djangoproject.com would benefit from a 'contributed projects' area to incubate promising work such as this, allowing the community to collaborate on developing a range of killer apps for Django.

While I agree, and it has been talked about positively before by core, exactly how (or if) this will happen is still vague at best.
