Description

It is useful to be able to edit related objects inline. It would be even nicer to be able to edit related objects in a new popup window, similar to what the small "add" button already does. Sometimes you want to lookup what properties a certain related object has or to change something in it. It would be also useful if the related object has a lot of fields and would take too much space and clutter up the page. You wouldn't need to open a new tab or window and search the object - you could just open it in a popup, change, click save and go on with editing your original object.

From a technical side it does not seem to difficult - the "add" button already does pretty much of it. It needs to be modified not to display a "create new object" page but rather an "edit already existant object" page.

Newforms-admin will make it easier to write customisations like this if you really want them. It's too much fine-tuning to ship by default, though.
