Deployment Nightmare

Description
I am not a geek, but have been coding in python for 7 years, and have got out several of mysql/php websites.
Now, we rented a dedicated server running on a debian linux.
Today, i tried setting up django, because of the apperant advantages. I spent 10 hours !!!
The deployment has a lot of parameters and it is almost impossible to understand what is right and what is wrong from your documentation or the internet..
This is unacceptable for such a nice project and something based on python *which is super intuitive
So, please make deploying django easier on servers, this is the key to improve the number of users..
