= Django sprint in the Washington DC Metro Area, August 1st = We'll be holding a Django development sprint at the University of Maryland, in College Park, MD (in the Washington DC Metro Area) on August 1st from 9am to 5pm. This sprint will be focused on Django 1.0 beta 1 (scheduled to be released August 5th). The University is located in College Park, MD, which is accessible by [http://wmata.com/metrorail/systemmap.cfm Metro]. It is also easily accessible from I-95 and I-495. If you're coming in from out of town, there are many travel and lodging options. ==== Sprint location (UPDATED) ==== We will be sprinting in the Executive Dining Room in !VanMunching Hall on the University of Maryland campus.
