map.setCenter(bounds.getCenter(), map.getBoundsZoomLevel(bounds))

should be changed to:

map.setCenter(bounds.getCenter(), {{ zoom }})

otherwise when use GoogleMap(zoom=x, ...) with zoom params, zoom does not effected actually .
