I could be wrong, but I think there needs to be a run of resync as the admin log is not created. 

Rather than edit the ""What's up?"" question I added a new question to the poll and clicked 'save and continue' and got an error because the admin log table did not exist until I have resynced. This might not have happened if I had followed the tutorial exactly, so this may be a ticket for a non-issue.
