Django sprint in Chicago, IL, Jan 9-10 2010
We'll be holding a sprint in Chicago, IL at the EveryBlock offices on January 9th and 10th.
We'll be there at 9am both days to open the doors. It's a tradition go out for drinks after the sprinting winds down, perhaps around 4 or 5, but this may be later if development is going strong.
This will be a general sprint focused on bug fixing and small features for the 1.2 release. It doesn't require any previous experience and, if you don't have prior experience contributing to Django, it is the perfect opportunity to start.

Anybody, anywhere around the world, can participate and contribute. We'll be gathering in person at the EveryBlock offices, but if you can't make it you can also help out in IRC.

Getting there
EveryBlock's offices are at:

Both the Lincoln (11) and Damen (50) CTA buses go near it.
It's a 5 minute walk from either the Irving Park or Montrose brown line stops.
Ravenswood Metra stop is a 10 min walk.
Parking should be easy on Ravenswood for those who want to drive.
