I used conf/locale/en/LC_MESSAGES/django.po and conf/locale/en/LC_MESSAGES/djangojs.po as templates because make-messages.py doesn't generate a valid .pot file.

Both po files compile without errors and the translation works at first glance. I'm going to test it as I try to develop my first django web app. :)
