He suggests offering three ways of doing it, but that seems like overkill, because if we support an ""item_categories"" method that works like the ""item_pubdate"" method, then simpler schemes are easy to implement too. Patch included, and as bonus it's only one line long! :-) I'll buy that for a dollar.
